Not a house claim but figure some Iowa folks might find this helpful. Had a grain bin collapse from straight-line winds and learned that farm insurance is a whole different world.

Key things: bins are usually covered under farm property not dwelling, you need to document grain loss separately from structure, and most farm policies have actual cash value not replacement cost for outbuildings. Ended up about $30k short of full replacement but at least got something.
