Derecho damage in Iowa - still fighting my claim

The 2020 derecho destroyed our garage and damaged the house. Its now 2024 and Im STILL fighting with my insurance company about the full settlement. They paid partial but are disputing the rest.

Does Iowa have any statute of limitations on hurricane/wind claims I should know about? Starting to worry if I wait too long I might lose my right to pursue this.
