Coal country home insurance - subsidence coverage in WV

Bought a house in WV and found out later theres abandoned mines under the area. Some neighbors have had subsidence issues and insurance didnt cover it.

What I learned: West Virginia has a mine subsidence insurance fund run by the state. Its cheap (like $125/year for $200k coverage). But you have to specifically buy it - its not automatic. If youre in coal country in WV, get this coverage. Standard homeowners excludes earth movement.
